I am still dreaming (and drooling) about the Bruschetta Burger I had for dinner here a few nights ago. Now I wonder why all burgers don't come smothered in garlic Boursin cheese! It was one of the best burgers I've ever had. Service was attentive and kind- from the hostess, to the friendly bartender, to our server in the dining room. Can't wait to come back!
From the 1st time we met Abby and Keegan at the Ice Fishing Expo in Oshkosh we knew we would not be disappointed! The resort, the hospitality, the bar and restaurant were all excellent. Winter blizzard conditions shared our short stay with us and everyone at the resort were so friendly and helpful with making sure everyone had everything needed. Unfortunately due to the weather conditions we weren’t able to do much ice fishing but we are excited to try again another time. The cabins were warm, clean, homey, and fully stocked, the views were beautiful, the food and drinks were fantastic and we cannot wait to come back in the summer to try our luck on the lake in open waters.
Nice place for fishing, UTV, or snowmobile trips. Cabins are cozy but nice. Ours slept 6...three couple in Cabin 10 BUT...we only had 3 forks and 3 coffe cups. Needs a little more attention on basic supplies.
We stayed at the resort this weekend for an ice fishing getaway. The cabin (#2) we stayed in was a small 1 bedroom cabin sitting right next to the water. It was very nice and cozy for two of us. Mother Nature treated us to -27 degrees and quite a blowing wind. The cabin stayed nice and warm all weekend even with the frigid temperatures. The management staff was excellent and kept in contact with us to make sure everything was going good for us. Definitely will be coming back to this resort .
Beautiful cabins in an amazing location! Bonus that you can walk right over to an amazing restaurant. We really enjoyed our stay during our snowmobile trip!
Phelps hillside resort is a great place to visit and unwind go fishing,boating or swimming , or ice fishing and snowmobileing. Nothing beats waking up next to the water . Beautiful views of the lake make early mornings and lait nights epic . Kicker is the restaurant pack food and also enjoy all that the restaurant has to offer. The Richters love it .
Love this place! Wooden northern lodge-style bar with cool mounts and fun winter decorations. Bartenders were amazing and the food was just as good. Burchetta burger was cooked perfectly. My husband loved the clams, mussels, and the prime rib sandwich. And of course — excellent Old Fashioneds. Definitely will be back!
We had a great stay in Cabin #1. The location is great for ice fishing as it's centrally located and easy on and off the ice. There is a bar/restaurant open on weekends as well. Abby is a great host!
